If you had to describe a scene or event from your HA, what would it be? Why is your avatar dressed like they are? What does it mean to you, and what story would you tell based on how you have designed and dressed your HA?

Uhm, the story behind my HA isn't so much in his background as it is for his HA. This HA is a representation of a character I am making. He doesn't have a name yet, however this is what I thought of so far. This guy is a late bloomer, while most people in his world start their adventures at a young age. He did not. However, now he feels confident and ready to start his Pokemon journey! This guy grew up in a pretty wealthy family and they really didn't want him to go out adventuring as much as they wanted him to take on the family responsibilities. Though they did let him have Pokemon and battle trainers that came by his home, he didn't get to go leave for an adventure. Not until a long time after when he has finally gotten the courage to actually ask for some time, probably promising to return and resume his duties.

His pokemon type of choice are going to be Fairy and Ghost type pokemon, and while he was very optimistic in the beginning he'll quickly come to learn how difficult being on an adventure can be. However, with friends he'll prevail and figure things out as he goes.

While I was working on mine I had one story in mind, but she turned out a bit more regal than I was intending (I had wanted to work with the long red veil so it was always destined to be fancy I suppose). This lovely lady is a hopeful crown princess, traveling to another country to try and forge new ties for her country and her people...without the whole 'princess must marry into the other family to build bridges' trope. On the way she has stopped for a moment to enjoy the world around her in the crisp morning before she and her caravan resume their journey.

My HA story...a twist to classic mermaids. She's the representation of the polluted waters, her once beautiful face is now scarred and pale. She dons carcasses and dead skin. Yet she guards the water that was once her home until she completely dissolves away.

creating my HA, i started off with a winter theme in mind that took on a fae twist as i got into it. i built off this idea of someone getting caught in a blizzard and wandering into a forest, totally losing any sense of direction and passing of time. just as they begin to get worn out, they spot softly lit lanterns in the background and follow them until they find this ethereal creature who looks at them in return curiously, a little amused.

...now, i don't know how much any of that comes across, but it was fun in the meanwhile. i'm glad to know i'm not the only one getting lost daydreaming while making avatars.

Anytime I create an HA, I put a little bit of myself into it. Luminaire is one of my favorite times of year to decorate her with, and this year I thought about how warm and happy this time of year makes me feel even if it's bitter cold outside. This HA is the type of person who would love to go carol with a group of friends, make cookies for neighbors, and spread lots of happiness to everyone around her.

I know right? I just can't make a decent HA without thinking about it beforehand...like I have to craft a story about it :p I really love the stuff that's come through so far :D MY story...well...hehe...I made it up as I went along. It's supposed to be a contrast...between light and dark...beauty and brokenness...like she has wings, but they're just bone. She's unable to fly, so the swans leave her behind, and she creeps along the forest floor, lost and pining for home. The daisies in her hair are the ones she picks as she drifts. I can't really say as to WHY her wings are broken...maybe a past sin? Or a disease? Who knows?

My HA is my oc Jason, he's from a world where the zombie apocalypse happened and he was turned. Years later humans are back to normal living and are trying to "re-train" zombies, his best friend finds him and is trying to train Jason to behave like a human and not attack people. He's found the best solution is give to him raw hamburger (he thinks its brains) or other meat. Hes decently friendly unless he sees blood or your mean to his friend,,,then you might be this zombie boys next meal!

My HA rules over a kingdom hidden in snow. Born to a legacy of magic rulers, she did not have to fight for her place as ruler, but it is clear that she is more powerful than her predecessors. She is revered for her incredible and unaging beauty, but people are cautious to come too close. Because of her mystical powers and her secrecy, there is more lore and mystery surrounding her than there is truth. She is known to fiercely protect her people, but has a sick sense of justice for those who try her. The kingdom has experienced great prosperity since her reign, and some even worship her as a deity. There are always hushed rumors and whispers in her kingdom, from the things she has done on the battlefield (yes, she goes to battle), to the places she's been gifted fine clothing from. The latest whispers have been about her refusal to marry. Some say that she is uninterested in men, and some say she will not concede to losing even an ounce of control.

For once, the rumors are all true.

As for this HA, shy and quiet kid got pissed off when he saw some classmates tormenting a kitten. Got so mad he sprouted demon horns and a tail and is now like well the fuck do I do now.

so this ha is a fabulous russian ice skater who made history by winning world championships at the age of 16

but lost his muse aww

and one day he met another japanese skater who he danced with at a banquet and who managed to replicate his routine with such poise and grace

intrigued and amazed, the fabulous russian ice skater decided to take that japanese skater under his wing to guide him and give the japanese skater the moral support he needed to become the next legend

and soon they fell in love

also i might have just summarised yuri on ice but thats probably just a coincidence idk maybe obviously its not

My avatar is a wnter elf witch and her loyal companion. In her powers are both magic of cold and life. She can start a winter and call severe snowstorms, but also she can make snow melt and snowdrops and primroses grow. Right now they're on a quest to see the Winter Lord.

Most of my HAs have really involved characters and backstories but this one doesn't tbh. Let's see if I can make one up… she's a goblin king! Her people have been miners under a mountain for centuries, and one day her lil tribe/family unit discovered a very rare glowing crystal that they worshiped as a god and their only constant source of light. Sensing an opportunity, this gal stole the crystal, leaving her people in darkness, and traveled far away to another goblin tribe in another part of the mountain range. There, being the bearer of the crystal elevated HER to godlike status, and she became the natural leader of her new people. Over the years she grew her tribe into an unstoppable army, returned to her home with them, and slaughtered everyone who knew her before she was the god-king. It's been centuries now, and her power has only grown over the years. Now, little is seen of her; it is unknown whether she's even still alive or has died and become something of a powerful demon god that haunts the mountains and the goblins within. One thing is certain, though; those who have been blessed— or cursed— by her are always victorious in battle, bringing death wherever they go. Her army is notorious throughout the land, and the sight of a glowing light in the distant caves is a fearsome one indeed, as it almost certainly means the god-king and her bloodthirsty army are on their way.
